What’s the most appreciatable Aqara device and why?
I have two smart devices from Aqara.
- Aqara D200i smart lock - I forgot what keys are.
- Aqara S1 plus - control your entire home in one place + intercom from panel to panel.
Aqara U200, definetly.
The standard cheap P1 motion sensor. When you use it with a smart bulb and Aqara automations, it can do quite a bit for its cost. I have most of Aqara’s sensors at this point including the FP300, the P1 is still for the money the most useful tool in the house.
For me, it’s the W500 Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat.
I’ve been looking for a WiFi / Smart Thermostat for quite a while, and this just ticked all the boxes for me.
It works with my existing Zigbee / HA / HomeKit setup so that I can control from my phone and setup schedules.
I wasn’t sure my existing temperature probe would work, but it did. With a small temperature offset the unit displays the actual surface temperature of the tiles.
Water leak sensors - just drop them and be happy no more worring
Jak dla mnie nr 1. sterownik do otwierania i zamykania rolet E1.
Nr 2. Hub M3
Nr3. Czujnik otwarcia zamknięcia P2
Nr4. Sterownik termostat E1, dlatego dopiero 4 bo kilka razy się zawiesił.
Hello,
I use many of Aqara’s devices, but I’m really impressed with how a simple relay (Aqara Dual Relay Module T2) can make part of the smart home - the garage door, boiler, outdoor siren, etc. Otherwise, indispensable parts of the home are - Light Switch H2 EU, Radiator Thermostat E1, Roller Shade Driver E.
Have a good day !!!
I don’t have so many yet, as I have various systems like Hue for lightings, Ring for safety (alarm & cameras) etc… Today I have Thermostat E1 that i love so much more than the Netatmo I decommissioned (very dissatisfied with Netatmo and so expensive for the quality and low App capabilities that never got updated in years & low battery power management, many bugs…). So my E1 thermostat and T2 relay to drive the boiler when at least 1 thermostat is calling for heating, is working super great, along with the independent temperature sensors in the room used by the E1 making the room at the exact right temperature all the time… Honestly impressed by Aqara so far!
The U200 is my favourite - easy to use and the fingerprint sensor is great
and the new FP300 - 4 in 1 sensor !
U200 hands down. was waiting for it for long time.
you get the best of home automation without the need of changing your door/lock/bolt etc…
and from outside nobody knows it’s there.
It wasn’t perfect at launch, but they fixed it pretty fast.
Surely Cube T1 Pro. Love to control different things just by flipping or rotating it like adjusting TV volume and lights.
Dial V1 (only if they open up the software restrictions)
One of the most premium products I’ve been able to try is the Aqara G5 Pro camera, I think it’s wonderful, it’s true that it has too many functions for a camera, however if you don’t have any and want to try a product that also serves as a hub, I think it’s wonderful.
Aqara 2K Security Camera Hub G3. I use the camera with facial recognition to automatically turn off an alarm system.
I really like Aqara temp sensors and door/window sensor (zigbee), i absolutely love U200 also i like Wall Socket H2 EU (i lied it more if it had usb/usb-c charger ports but we dont live in perfect world)
FP2 sensor is my favorite—it allows me to create scenes that I would otherwise have to assemble using multiple devices.

U200 and the motion sensors for me
FP2 presence sensor, such a step up from all the IR types I’ve used in the past
For sure it’s U200, G4 (hopefully G410 soon) and P2 Door/Window sensor
