When do we get a new Aqara Wall Outlet with Thread and Zigbee?

Hi guys,

I really need a Matter over Thread Wall Outlet.

The Aqara Wall Outlet H2 (EU) seems to be the perfect device. But it’s Zigbee only.

Any idea, when we will see something like the Aqara Wall Outlet H2 (EU) with Thread and Zigbee?

I agree, would love a Matter over Thread wall outlet from Aqara. In the interim I have been using these from eve home.

Yeah, I also use these smart plugs from EVE. But it’s a plug, I need wall outlets. :wink:

The Aqara Smart Wall Switch H2 already supports Thread. Would it be possible to update the firmware of this Outlet to support it as well?

That would be great. In my opinion, the radio used by Zigbee can also be used for Thread, too. The question is whether the H2 wall outlets have enough power (CPU, RAM) to support Matter.
