When the P3 AC controller global version available

The P3 air conditioning controller only support China only, there for with whole the house are using global devices is hard to work with P3 device,
So i hope that Aqara should release the Global verison off P3

I don’t think the P3 will be released globally, as a plug is needed for each region, and even if there is an upgrade, it will be a different device.
You can use the M3 hub and the closed-loop conditioning mode or the IR mode on the M3, M2, and G3.

Yes sir, just small update the device can control the AC, and some IR device small room instead of M2 or M3 hub

do you mind if aqara provide a usb version to support AC control feature?

That will be amazing

can share what’s the IR you sue for the aircon? my airson is system 3 with 3 aircon bind to same IR

I am not sure why do you need an P3 global version?because the G3 camera also M2/200 and M3 have it blaster witch can control the AC perfectly I have M3 and G3 camera and my AC is almost 10m away from the hubs and works perfectly I even have the Aqara w100 sensor connected to control the AC too tru M3 hub.so there are many ways using Aqara devices to control the AC without using an P3 device.

Maybe Im a bit late on this but I see a lot of benefits on the p3, as a smart plug directly between the power of ac, it can inherently knows the state of the ac based on the power consumption. Power monitoring is also good with it the power saving mode is really helpful. (When I turn off my ac it waits a few mins and cut off power to the ac, when turning on it turns the power and after a seconds it activates the ac.) and honestly finding a good spot for the hub where its directly inline to the AC could sometimes be challenging.

Well I can say that M3 have an powerful or blaster and works even with an wall between at least in my case as I had my M3 on the living room and my AC is on my front door on top of it and in between was an wall and like 7/8m distance and it works perfectly.but I get your point if you want to see how much electricity your AC use sure then an P3 make sense if aqara will release one .

Honestly tho I see your point I recently got the m200, idk if its as good as m3 on the IR department but it sure is strong, I previously had my p3 not plugged in ac and just plug in the wall (as I do not have the chinese socket yet) and it works half the time. Yet this m200 being even farther works flawlessly. As of now Im running a double set up. Using m200 to link it to my main aqara global ecosystem and p3 for the power state control and energy monitoring. And honestly it works really well and state do sync between the 2 even when both are not in the same app.
Maybe I also would like to add that with aqara giving away too many hubs in 1 device, having a smart plug that works as an ac controller would be nice, without dealing with more hubs. I have this exact dilemma since I already had g5 pro camera hub as my main hub and don’t wanna get a expensive m3 just to get my ac to homekit.

Well if your M200 works perfectly then no need to buy the M3 use it how it works better for you and your needs.

Bro, i dont know why now my M3 hub can not receive feedback from the remote control, even i have re-match again the remote
Could you help me

Hey.could be because when you use the remote you need to point it to the M200 hub so the hub see and learn that you are using the remote and translate that to aqara home app to show your AC ON.i personally moved my M3 near to the AC and when I am using the remote witch is almost never but when I using it then the M3 see that I was turning the AC on via remote and let aqara home app that AC is on.i personally using more an gesture using my G3 to turn On my AC is much convenient for me personally and this way I almost never touch the remote.it is how it works since the AC doesn’t send back signals
