Where can you see how full the Aqara hub is and if you can set up another hub?

@hl_privat_1958 Hello. Could you please tell me which Aqara Hub you are referring to? Does “full” mean that the number of added sub-devices has reached its limit?

Gateway M2

Gateway M3

Thanks my freind

Byt it is the only Aqara I have some philips matter in the box
How Can I see if the m3 is fuld

The M3 can have 120 devices connected directly. This means that there can be 120 battery-powered sensors connected directly to the gateway (assuming you don’t have any devices in your house that are powered by 220 volts with neutral).
The question is, how many devices are there in your house approximately?

thanks and thanks for your help - I have about 95 things on M3
but can I just buy another M3 if you need 150 battery powered things

For general understanding, when you connect a device to 220 with zero, as a rule, they take over the organization of communication as an intermediate link. Therefore, if you have such a device, for example, a connection is made through it (for example) 5 battery-powered sensors, and therefore only one connection (a 220 volt device) will be connected to the M3 hub.
Therefore, theoretically you see 6 devices on the gateway, but in fact one device is connected to the gateway.

Just to clarify, an additional gateway does not expand the network coverage. You need to reconnect new or old sensors to it. There is also a feature from my practice, if two gateways in a house can manifest cloud automation within the house, they are connected because the home router works as an additional link of communication between the gateways. Therefore, uninterruptible power supply must be installed additionally on the home router. I try to do all critical automations so that the sensors that are connected to these automations are on the same gateway.

@hl_privat_1958 Hello. If the number of sub-devices approaches 150, it is necessary to purchase an additional M3 hub. This is because a single M3 Hub allows a maximum of 127 Zigbee sub-devices or 127 Thread sub-devices to be connected. Therefore, another M3 hub is required to manage the number of connected devices.
