I don’t understand why this product is not available in North America since it’s been available in Europe for many years. I understand things like door locks that have different standards, but this just pulls on a cord which is the same across the world.

If im not mistaken the issue is cords. They are a hazard for children due to strangulation risk and out right banned in some places.
I could be wrong.
