Question about Aqara camera.
Why do they only record for a fixed time interval, i think it’s 10 seconds and then the camera stop even if there is still are activity in the zone? They should keep recording as long as there are people or movement in the zone.

Hello, go to the event search settings and select an interval of 15 seconds.
The 10 second video is probably for a notification preview.
Did you toggle this button to local recordings? You should have full video here if it’s toggled to the floppy icon.
If I set it to local, will I be able to access it from outside my home?
Hello, no.
Yes. It refers to the storage location, you don’t have to be on the WiFi network to browse what’s recorded. The camera can stream from the SD card the same way it streams the live video.
@gafich10 I use it all the time - it just shows me what’s recorded on the SD card. The cloud button shows me what’s recorded on the cloud, and I don’t use the cloud.
