Can anyone identify or solve this issue?
I use an aqara camera G2h hub (not pro) inside my garage. This garage is not connected to my house, but over the back of the garden. I’ve had a range extender (powerline) running for years to provide wifi for the G2h and the RING outdoor camera. Worked flawlessly.
I don’t want RING cameras anymore so was overjoyed with the G100 release. However, as soon as the G100 is plugged in the Tenda Wifi extender freezes and the whole Garage network is offline. I can reboot the extender and all works for around 20 seconds - then it goes down again.
I’ve done extensive troubleshooting and can confirm that this failure ONLY happens when the G100 is plugged in. I’ve tried multiple cables in case that’s an issue with interference, it isn’t…
Anyone know what can be done?

@daniel21 It sounds like you’re experiencing quite a frustrating issue with your setup. Based on the reference information, while there isn’t a specific mention of the G100 interacting with a Wi-Fi extender, there are some general troubleshooting steps you might consider.
First, ensure that all devices, including your G2H hub and Wi-Fi extender, have the latest firmware updates. Sometimes, compatibility issues can arise from outdated software. Also, verify that the G2H hub is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as it does not support 5GHz, which could potentially cause connectivity issues if the network settings are not aligned.
Since you’ve mentioned that the problem specifically occurs when the G100 is plugged in, it might be worthwhile to check if there are any conflicting network settings or if the G100 is overpowering or interfering with the extender’s signal. You might also want to try relocating the G100 or the extender to see if physical interference could be causing the issue.
If these steps don’t resolve the problem, it may be helpful to engage the community for more specific advice, as someone else might have encountered a similar issue. Additionally, you could consider reaching out to Aqara’s customer support for further assistance. They might have more detailed insights or solutions tailored to the G100’s integration with other devices.
Please let us know how it goes, and feel free to share any further insights or solutions you discover!

Friend, can you provide the specific model of the Tenda powerline AP? We have indeed not tested this type of network, but you mentioned that G2H can connect stably. We need to do some testing before replying to you.
