Hi everyone — I’m planning to buy both the Aqara LED Ceiling Light T1M and the Aqara Panel Hub S1 Plus. I currently have aqara g410 connected to apple tv 4k 128.
My questions:
• Since the S1 Plus is described as a “Zigbee 3.0 Hub + Matter Bridge / Zigbee Hub + Bridge”, does that mean I don’t need any other hub (like M3 or classic Aqara hub) to use the T1M?
• Will the T1M then appear as a standard Zigbee device connected via S1 Plus, and be exposed to Apple Home / Matter for controlling light, brightness, color/temperature etc.?
• Are there known limitations or quirks in such a setup (T1M + S1 Plus + Apple Home) — e.g. reliability, delays, missing features?
• Or is a “full-fledged hub” like Aqara Hub M3 recommended instead for best results?
Thanks in advance for any experiences or advice — I want to avoid buying unnecessary hardware if S1 Plus is enough.
