Wired version of the Aqara doorbell

I’ve installed my G4 at my gate
as per instruction the internal chime, should be not more than 5m away from it
My gate is probably 7/8m from my entrance, and there’s a thick wall in between…
I’m wondering, why isn’t it possible to run a network cable from the video doorbell to the chime? and why can’t the chime be wired as well to my network? I’m struggling to get decent video and realtime 2way voice cause of distances and wifi… aqara please… can I have an hard wired video doorbell??? (and can I give you back my current one?)

Only solution would be to move forward your chime, for example by installing a new power outlet that let the chime get access to the doorbell

From your description of the installation site, it seems that the G4 doorbell is not the best solution. I think you can only install the G4 next to your entrance door at the moment. Yes, we are developing doorbell that support PoE connection. Please follow Aqara’s new product release updates.

yes, thanks for the reply
that’s basically what’s I’ve done, I’ve tucked the chime in a water proof outdoor power box and it’s kind of resolved.
Said so, I’d really love to have my cameras (and generally all the devices that generates some bigger data traffic on a daily basis) to be hard wired and not wireless.
A PoE-like version of the doorbell would be great to me,
