So I have an W600 where the temperature shown on the thermostat is different what is shown in the app.
When I set an temperature in the app it’s not reflected by the W600
The temperature shown is kind of random? I had now 19 C and 23…
The temperature compensation is set to 0. I have an Aqara temp sensor connected.
An intelligent timeplan which is set to 21. The temperature sensor shows 22.1 C
But if I change the temperature on the W600 it is reflected in the app?
Which is weird…
This comes to the next problem. Which Temp setting is now correct? The one in the App or the one displayed on the W600?
Stay calm, I had exactly the same problems and also the thermostats didn’t regulate. I sent the junk back and wrote a review on Amazon. I noticed that overnight suddenly more than 112 good reviews were there, but upon closer reading they were not from the W600 but from the old E1 thermostat. Here the customer is cheated by Aqara and Amazon allows it! Caution!!
Mhhhmm I wanted to replace my E1 with these but before I order 5 additional W600 i want to make sure that it works. I didn’t had these problems with the E1.
Up until a year ago, I also had the E1, but I replaced it with the Tado X due to quality issues with the actuator. I also wanted to go back to Aqara and install the W600 with the W100. Well, I sent everything back and am waiting half a year…
Agreed, the Amazon situation is highly unfortunate and misleading. I still feel the W600 has potential once they figure out the software. As of right now, the thermostat is sadly mostly unusable…
I am also having problems with the temperature reading directly on the W600. I have an external Aqara temp sensor connected and using its readings to control the temperature. The W600 is constantly showing 15.5 (never changes) while the thermometer on the wall is reading 21,8???
The W600 is controlling the heating with the external thermostat, but that the W600 temperature reading on the device is not working is not acceptable ( a minimal discrepancy due to the difference in high of the W600 and the external thermostat is expected and can be adjusted in the App).
I hope an update is being prepared and will be released shortly.
My setup consists of six W600 thermostats, each with an external Aqara temperature sensor and a window contact. Everything is connected to an M3 hub. Initially, I blamed the control problems on Matter. So I switched from Home Assistant to the Aqara app. That didn’t help.
At the same time, two thermostats had problems with the stability of the mechanical connection. I was able to resolve this (reassembling and tightening the screws, carefully, of course).
I noticed the incorrect temperature readings. (It wasn’t 24.5°C in the room, nor was that value being measured by the external sensor). The radiators simply weren’t being regulated. The timer function wasn’t working.
After switching to Zigbee AND switching to internal temperature measurement, the thermostats are now working. The temperature display is also correct now. Program control via the app works. The window contacts correctly switch the thermostats on and off. Everything is displayed correctly in Home Assistant.
Unfortunately, external temperature measurement in two rooms is desirable due to the position of the radiators. I hope Aqara resolves the issue with integrating the external temperature sensor soon.
