I’ve been using Lovelace for a while now and I’ve really come to appreciate its flexibility and customization options. However, there’s one feature I’ve been missing quite a bit: a back button for navigation. I have several sub-views set up, and while they’re great for organizing my devices and automations, navigating between them can sometimes feel a bit cumbersome. Having a back button would make moving between views much smoother and more intuitive, especially when I’m deep into a particular setup and need to go back to where I started.
I’ve tried a few different approaches to solve this issue. I looked into custom cards and even considered modifying the Lovelace configuration files myself, but nothing seems to work quite right. Some solutions I found online either didn’t fit my setup or caused other issues. I’m really hoping the community might have some insights or workarounds that I haven’t discovered yet. If there’s a way to implement this feature or a clever alternative that achieves the same goal, I’d be more than happy to give it a try!
In the meantime, I’ll keep exploring different options and configurations. Maybe there’s a hidden setting or a lesser-known method that I’ve overlooked. I’m determined to find a solution that makes navigating through my Lovelace views as seamless as possible. If anyone has any suggestions or experiences to share, I’d greatly appreciate it. Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can make this feature a reality!
