Wyze Cam Continuous Recording Solution

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Cam continuous recording feature. It started when I noticed my camera wasn’t recording as expected after an attempted car break-in. The 12-second clip was captured, but when I reviewed it with the police, I realized the continuous recording wasn’t working despite being set up correctly. This was concerning, especially after restarting the camera, reformatting the SD card, and clearing the cache without any luck.

After some research, I found that others had similar issues, and many suggested checking the camera’s firmware and app updates. I updated both the Wyze Cam firmware to the latest version and the Wyze app on my iPhone X running iOS 13. Surprisingly, the continuous recording started working perfectly again!

I wanted to share this solution in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem. It’s a simple fix but can save a lot of frustration. Also, if you’re using older firmware or an outdated app, I highly recommend updating them as soon as possible to ensure your security system is running smoothly.
