Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Cam I recently installed. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m glad to say I’ve figured out the issue.\So, I installed the Wyze Cam outdoor with CamPlus, and initially, everything seemed to be working smoothly. I set up a schedule for it to turn on at 9 PM and off at 7 AM. But then, I started noticing something odd—it would trigger notifications at 9 AM instead of the scheduled 9 PM. That was pretty confusing! I checked the Wyze app, and it mentioned something about an “all day” setting, but I couldn’t find that option anywhere.\I decided to dig deeper and tried resetting the camera, thinking maybe it was a glitch. After a few resets, the issue persisted. Then, I remembered reading somewhere about the camera’s firmware needing an update. I checked the app, and sure enough, there was an update available. I installed it, and to my delight, the scheduling started working correctly!\But wait, there was another issue—I noticed a significant time lag of about 10-20 seconds when viewing the live feed. That was frustrating, especially if I wanted to monitor something in real-time. I did some research and found that others were experiencing similar issues. Some suggested checking the network settings, so I tried connecting the camera to a different Wi-Fi network. Guess what? The lag improved dramatically!\It’s amazing how a simple network adjustment can make such a big difference. I’m now able to enjoy smooth live viewing and reliable scheduling. If anyone else is struggling with similar issues, I’d recommend checking for firmware updates and ensuring your camera is on a stable network.\Overall, it’s been a learning experience, but I’m happy to have my Wyze Cam up and running smoothly now. ![]()
