Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Cam and Nuki App, as well as ask for some advice.
First, let me talk about the Wyze Cam. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I noticed something odd yesterday. I heard my iPad alert about motion detected on my Wyze Cam. When I checked the Wyze app this morning, the events tab was empty. I tried pulling down to refresh, and individual motion events appeared on the screen. Tapping on them showed the recordings, but going back into the app, the events were still missing from the tab. It’s been working perfectly today, so I’m not sure what happened. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something I might have set up incorrectly?
Now, onto the Nuki App. I’ve been thinking about security, especially after reading about potential vulnerabilities. I’d love to know if there’s a way to hide sensitive information like my home address and lock location within the Nuki app. This would be a great feature, especially if someone gains access to my phone. I’d hate for them to know where my locks are or where I live. If this isn’t possible yet, I’d love to hear if others feel the same way and if it’s something the developers might consider.
