Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with mounting the Wyze Cam v2 on my wall. I’ve been really impressed with the camera’s performance, but getting it securely mounted was a bit of a challenge at first. I saw some posts about the sticky stuff in the packaging not holding well, and I can confirm that was my experience too—it just didn’t stick like it was supposed to. So, I ended up putting the camera on a little cart with wheels and using a book to keep it steady while it points down at my dog. It’s a temporary solution, but it works for now!
I’ve been brainstorming some ideas for a more permanent fix. One thought was drilling tiny holes in the camera’s base to hang it on a nail, but I’m worried that might damage the sleek design. Another idea is using double-sided tape on both the camera and the wall. I’m not sure if that’s the best approach, but I’m open to trying it. I’ve also seen some cool third-party mounts online, like the little birdhouse-style ones. Those would be perfect for a child’s room or anywhere you want something cute and functional. I’d love to hear if anyone has found a stylish and effective mounting solution they’d recommend!
In the meantime, I’m really enjoying the Wyze Cam. It’s so easy to set up, and the features are fantastic. I’m looking forward to trying out some more creative mounting ideas soon. If anyone has tips or tricks, I’d love to hear them! ![]()
