I also use a MicroSD card for local storage, which ensures that my videos are saved even if my internet goes down. The Wyze app keeps these recordings for 14 days, but with the MicroSD card, I can store them indefinitely.
Notifications are another area where I’ve spent some time. I’ve enabled AI events to detect people and packages, which has significantly reduced false alarms. The app sends push notifications whenever something is detected, and I can view the live feed or recorded clips directly from my phone. It’s incredibly convenient!
I’ve also been curious about the Travel Mode. From what I understand, it allows the camera to record even when it’s not connected to Wi-Fi, which is great for remote monitoring.
