Wyze Cam Pan 2 Reset and QR Code Issue

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze Cam Pan 2. I’ve had this camera for a while now, and it’s been working perfectly until recently. Out of the blue, it went offline, and I couldn’t reconnect it through the Wyze app. It kept getting stuck at the ‘ready to connect’ screen and wouldn’t read the QR code. I tried everything—rebooting the camera, resetting it, even checking the Wi-Fi connection—but nothing worked. I was really worried it was toast!

But then, after some research, I found a solution. I had to manually enter the camera’s serial number in the Wyze app instead of scanning the QR code. It worked! The camera is back online, and everything seems to be functioning properly now. I was so relieved!

This experience made me realize how important it is to keep backups of important information like serial numbers, especially for devices that might need reconnection in the future. If you’re ever in a similar situation, give manually entering the serial number a try—it just might save you from thinking your device is broken!
