Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick tip that might save others some frustration with their Wyze cameras. I recently had an issue with my Wyze Pan camera where the video feed was a bit hazy, making it hard to see details. After doing some research, I decided to take it apart and clean the lens myself. It worked like a charm!
Here’s what I did:
- Power Off and Unplug: Always a good first step to ensure safety.
- Locate the Lens Housing: On the Wyze Pan, it’s a small, circular cover on the front.
- Gently Remove the Cover: I used a plastic pry tool to avoid scratching the housing.
- Clean the Lens: I used a microfiber cloth with a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol. Be gentle to avoid smudging.
- Reassemble: Carefully put everything back together. No screws were needed, so it snapped right into place.
After this quick fix, the video quality improved significantly! If you’re experiencing similar issues, I highly recommend giving this a try. Just be careful and patient during the teardown process.
