Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience setting up my new Wyze Cam 3 and how my family is using it. I recently purchased two Wyze Cam 3 units, and I was a bit nervous about the setup process, but it turned out to be smoother than I expected!
First, I’ll talk about the installation. I followed the standard setup guide, but I had a hiccup when trying to connect the second camera. Initially, I thought I might have to set up each camera separately on different apps, but I was pleasantly surprised when both cameras showed up in the same Wyze app account. My husband and I both downloaded the app, and we can both view both cameras without any issues. That’s a huge plus for us!
One thing I wanted to mention is the camera’s night vision. It’s absolutely amazing! We have one camera outside, and it captures clear footage even in complete darkness. The motion detection also works flawlessly, which gives me peace of mind.
I’d like to share a quick tip for anyone struggling with the initial setup. If you’re having trouble connecting to your network, try resetting the camera to factory settings and going through the setup process again. Also, make sure your phone’s clock is set correctly, as that can sometimes cause issues with the QR code scanning.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Wyze Cam 3. It’s affordable, easy to use, and integrates seamlessly with multiple user accounts. If you’re in the market for a new camera, I highly recommend giving Wyze a try!
