Wyze Cam Subscription Issue and Workaround

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Cam subscription issue and how I managed to work around it. I recently noticed that Wyze was pushing users towards a paid subscription to access recorded footage, which was a bit frustrating since I initially chose Wyze for its no-subscription policy.

After some research, I discovered that while the subscription is required for cloud storage, the local storage option still works without it. I adjusted my settings to ensure all recordings are saved locally on my sync module. This way, I can still access my footage without paying for the subscription. It’s a small inconvenience, but it keeps things affordable for me.
