Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the recent Wyze Cam v2, Pan, and v3 firmware beta test. I’ve been using these cameras for a while now, and the updates have brought some noticeable improvements.
First off, the firmware versions for V2 and Pan are 4.9.8.352, and for Pan, it’s 4.10.8.352. The V3 update is at 4.36.6.17. The main highlights from the update include improved success rates for Cam Plus Event Video replays and better overall camera stability. These changes have definitely made my experience smoother.
One thing I noticed right away was how much more reliable the video replays have become. Previously, I’d sometimes encounter issues where the video wouldn’t load properly, but with this update, that’s been a non-issue. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference in how I interact with my cameras.
Another improvement I appreciate is the enhanced stability. My cameras are up and running consistently now, which is crucial for security monitoring. I’ve had instances where older firmware would cause random disconnects, but that’s been significantly reduced.
For those considering updating, I’d recommend doing so, especially if you rely heavily on your Wyze cameras. The improvements are subtle but impactful. However, I’d caution anyone with custom setups to test thoroughly after updating, just in case there are any unforeseen changes.
Overall, I’m happy with this update and look forward to seeing what future firmware releases bring. If anyone has specific questions or experiences to share, I’d love to hear them!
