Wyze Cam V4 Firmware Update and Nest Doorbell Installation Tips

I recently updated my Wyze Cam V4 to the latest firmware version 4.52.8.0648, and I must say, the improvements are noticeable! The red and blue indicator light issue after a router outage is resolved, and the -90 error has been addressed. It’s great to have a more reliable camera setup. If you haven’t updated yet, I highly recommend doing so for better performance and stability. On another note, I received a Nest doorbell as a gift, but unfortunately, the installation hardware and charging cable weren’t included. After some research, I found that using a universal mounting bracket and a standard USB cable worked perfectly. It was a bit of a hassle, but now my doorbell is up and running smoothly. I’d suggest checking for compatible accessories if you face similar issues.Lastly, I wanted to share a tip for anyone dealing with Samsung’s cloud service reliability. I’ve noticed that automations and WebCore integrations can be hit or miss. To mitigate this, I upgraded my hub’s CPU power and RAM, which has significantly improved responsiveness and consistency. It’s a small investment that makes a big difference in maintaining a seamless smart home experience.Overall, these updates and tweaks have made my home automation journey much smoother. Happy tinkering everyone!
