First off, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the Wyze CAM Outdoor and CAM V3 cameras. They’ve added a whole new layer of security to my property, especially with their battery-powered design. However, I recently encountered an issue where the outdoor camera wouldn’t reconnect after a power outage. It turned out that manually cycling the camera was the fix, but I’m still hoping for a more seamless solution in future updates. On the sprinkler front, I upgraded from my old Hunter controller to the Wyze sprinkler controller. The setup was smooth, but I ran into an issue with my Hunter rain sensor. I found a great method to archive Z-Wave logs in a separate directory, which helps keep things organized and prevents bloating in the main OpenHAB directory. It’s a small tweak, but it makes maintenance much easier. Lastly, I’ve been working on activating my new Surety panel and migrating my sensors.
