Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze camera base station after a recent firmware update. I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and they’ve been working perfectly. However, after updating the firmware on my base station, I noticed a significant drop in signal strength.
Here’s what happened: My cameras, which were previously connected without any issues, now show very weak signal strength. One camera, which is only 10 feet away with a clear line of sight, barely registers a signal. Another one, 20 feet away, shows no bars at all. This is really frustrating because the setup worked fine before the update.
I’ve tried resetting the cameras and the base station, but the issue persists. I’m wondering if others have experienced similar problems after a firmware update. Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? I’d appreciate any advice or insights you might have.
On a positive note, I’m glad Wyze offers firmware updates to improve their products, but it’s a bit concerning when updates cause regressions like this. I’m hopeful that they’ll address this issue in a future update.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
