Wyze Camera Experience & Tips

I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now and overall, I’m really impressed with their performance and affordability. However, I’ve encountered a couple of minor issues that I’d like to share and maybe get some tips from the community.

First, I noticed that the video feed from my Wyze doorbell camera doesn’t have an option to flip it 180 degrees. This is a bit of a nuisance because I had to install it upside down due to the narrow doorway. It would be great if Wyze added this feature in a future update!

Another thing I wanted to mention is about the camera notifications. I recently upgraded my system, and one of my cameras stopped sending notifications. After some troubleshooting, I realized that it was due to an unstable connection. A quick restart of the camera and the router fixed the issue. I thought I’d share this in case anyone else is experiencing similar problems.

On a positive note, I’ve found that integrating Wyze cameras with other smart home devices has been seamless. For example, setting up motion detection to trigger my smart lights has been a lifesaver. It’s amazing how these devices can work together to enhance home security and convenience.

I’d love to hear from others who are using Wyze cameras—any tips, tricks, or experiences you’d like to share? The community here is always so helpful, and I’m grateful for that!

Cheers,
