Wyze Camera Notification Issue with Shared Accounts

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved a similar issue with Wyze cameras and shared accounts. I’ve been using Wyze cameras at both my home and my parents’ house, and while the setup itself has been smooth, I’m running into an unexpected problem with notifications.

I set up the cameras at my parents’ house under my account and shared them with my wife so she could monitor our home. However, I’ve noticed that when an alert is triggered on any of the cameras at my parents’ house, my wife receives the notification even though she isn’t listed as a shared user for those specific cameras. This is concerning because it means my wife is getting alerts for something she shouldn’t be monitoring.

I’ve double-checked the sharing settings and everything seems correct. The cameras at my parents’ house are only shared with my parents’ account, yet my wife still receives the notifications. I’m wondering if this is a bug or if there’s a setting I’m missing that could prevent this from happening.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. I want to ensure that notifications are only sent to the intended users without compromising the security and privacy of my setup. Thanks in advance for your help!
