Wyze Camera SSID Issue and Rauchmelder Integration

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with their Wyze cameras. I’ve set up a home network using pfSense, which controls DHCP, firewall, and VPN, and I have several Wi-Fi access points providing connectivity across my house. The issue I’m facing is that Wyze cameras seem to require the exact same SSID for direct connectivity, even though all devices are on the same subnet. I have two SSIDs (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) depending on signal strength, and this sometimes forces me to switch SSIDs when trying to connect to my cameras via the app. It’s a bit frustrating, especially since direct connectivity should work regardless of the SSID. Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this?

On another note, I’m also looking to integrate some Rauchmelder (fire alarms) into my home automation setup. I’ve heard they can be connected via a CUL or HM LAN adapter, but I’m not entirely sure about the best way to set this up. I’m particularly interested in ensuring that the alarms can communicate across different floors, especially since my second apartment is on a lower level with limited wireless coverage. Any tips or experiences with similar setups would be greatly appreciated!

Lastly, I’m trying to set up a subscription for my Blink cameras, but I’m encountering an issue where the subscription isn’t available in my region. My address and payment methods are correctly set to Canada, so I’m a bit puzzled. Has anyone else faced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences on these topics. Thanks in advance for your help!
