Hi everyone, I wanted to share an issue I’ve been experiencing with my Wyze devices. I recently had an internet outage in my area, and unfortunately, this caused a significant disruption in my smart home setup. While I understand that some functionality might rely on an internet connection for remote access, I was surprised to find that even my local controls stopped working entirely. This included my lights and security sensors. The only devices that continued to operate were two of my cameras, which were on a different network. I’m a paid subscriber to both the Home Monitoring Service and Cam Plus Unlimited plans, so I was expecting more consistent performance. I’m curious to know if others have encountered similar issues and if there’s a way to ensure that my system remains functional even when the internet is down.
