Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my experience installing the Wyze Doorbell Pro. I’ve been eyeing this camera for a while, and finally decided to give it a try. I was a bit nervous about the installation process, but it turned out to be much simpler than I expected!
First, I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. The package came with the doorbell unit, a mounting bracket, a few screws, and some adhesive pads. I also decided to get a solar panel to power it, which I heard is a great way to keep it running without any wires.
I started by charging the doorbell for a full 24 hours as recommended. It was a bit tedious waiting, but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. Once it was fully charged, I mounted the unit on the wall using the included bracket. The adhesive pads worked perfectly, and the whole thing feels very secure.
Next, I set up the solar panel. I was a bit unsure about how to position it for optimal sunlight, but after a little trial and error, I found the perfect spot. One thing I was curious about was whether the solar panel would keep the doorbell charged during overcast days. I’ve been monitoring it for a week now, and it’s held up perfectly. The battery level stays consistently high, so I don’t have to worry about it dying.
