Wyze Outdoor Cameras: A Reliability Journey

As a homeowner who values security, I’ve been using Wyze outdoor cameras for about a month now, and they’ve been fantastic. However, I recently encountered an unexpected issue where all three of my Wyze outdoor cameras with security lights went offline simultaneously. Despite rebooting them and the nearby router with a strong signal, they remained offline. This was puzzling because all other IoT devices on the same network were functioning normally.

I decided to try factory resets, which brought them back online temporarily. However, this isn’t a sustainable solution. I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues with Wyze products, especially since my other Wyze devices, like the pan-tilt cameras, are still working perfectly. I’m eager to hear if anyone has found a more reliable long-term fix or if there are known issues with these particular models.

On a positive note, I’ve been impressed with the video quality and ease of setup with Wyze. It’s just frustrating when something like this happens. I’m hopeful that Wyze will address this issue in future updates. In the meantime, I’ll keep experimenting to find a more permanent solution.
