Wyze Thermostat Installation and AC Condenser Issue

Hi everyone, I just installed the Wyze Thermostat yesterday and it’s been quite an adventure! I followed the instructions and used the 24v C-wire adapter with my Bryant furnace. Everything seemed to go smoothly until today when I noticed something unexpected: my AC condenser was running even though the furnace was on. It’s currently 24°F outside, and I’m concerned this might be costing me extra on energy bills. I quickly cut the power to the AC unit to stop it from running, but I know that’s just a temporary fix.

I remember my old thermostat used the R, W, G, and Y terminals, even though the Y wire was blue. Could I have accidentally transposed a wire during the installation? I’m a bit worried I might have mixed up the connections, causing this issue. I’ve attached a photo of my setup for reference.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with their Wyze Thermostat? I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on how to resolve this without cutting the power again. I’m hoping it’s just a simple wiring mistake that I can fix myself. Thanks in advance for your help!
