I recently installed my Xiaomi Aqara humidity sensor and am trying to set it up to trigger specific actions based on humidity levels. I’ve created a flow where the sensor detects changes in humidity and set a threshold of 35%. However, I’m struggling to figure out how to set different thresholds for turning something on and off. For example, I want one action to occur when humidity goes above 40% and another when it drops below 30%. After some research, I found that the sensor doesn’t support two-way thresholds directly. A workaround could be to create two separate flows—one for when humidity rises above 40% and another for when it drops below 30%. This way, each flow can trigger the desired action independently. I also checked if there’s a setting within the sensor’s configuration or the smart home platform I’m using that allows for more granular control, but it seems the default setup only supports single thresholds. Updating the firmware didn’t resolve the issue either. If anyone has successfully configured their Xiaomi Aqara sensor to handle multiple thresholds or knows of a more elegant solution, I’d greatly appreciate the advice! Alternatively, if there are other sensors that offer this functionality out of the box, I’d love to hear recommendations.
