I recently purchased two Yale Real Living Z-Wave locks, and I must say, they are incredibly well-made with a sleek touchscreen and voice prompts. However, I’ve encountered an intriguing issue with one of them. While both locks are using the same Z-Wave module, one displays the battery status perfectly, while the other doesn’t show anything—just dashes in the SmartThings preferences. This has left me a bit puzzled. I’ve tried excluding and re-including the problematic lock, but it hasn’t resolved the issue. The lock itself works flawlessly, responding to commands and updating statuses in real-time, but the missing battery level is a minor inconvenience. I was hoping to use the Low Battery Notification app to keep track, but it’s not working for this lock. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I contact Assa Abloy, or is this a known issue?
