Hey everyone, I wanted to share a couple of things I’ve been working on recently. First, I upgraded my Home Assistant to version 7.0 and noticed some issues with my Z-Wave dongle. The error message [ 341.572014] usb 1-1.2: device descriptor read/64, error -32 kept popping up. After some research, I found that flashing the firmware on my Odroid C2 helped stabilize the connection. It’s been a bit of a journey, but it’s great to have everything working smoothly again!
On another note, I’ve been trying to install some new smart switches in my old house. I was so excited to get them, only to realize they were too big for my existing boxes! It was a bit frustrating, but I ended up using some clever organizing and even repurposing some old parts to make it work. It’s a reminder that sometimes the simplest solutions are the best!
