Hello everyone! I’ve been diving deep into my smart home setup lately, and I wanted to share some insights and tips that might help others optimize their systems. 
Z-Wave Network Stability
I recently upgraded my hub and noticed some Z-Wave devices dropping off the network. After some research, I found that ensuring all devices are on the latest firmware and maintaining a strong mesh network are crucial. If you’re experiencing similar issues, try performing a full network heal and check for any firmware updates. It’s also worth testing if any new devices might be causing interference.
Automation Delays
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is adding delays to automations. For instance, when I leave my house, I set a 20-second delay before triggering my alarm system. This gives me just enough time to cancel the alarm if I realize I’ve forgotten something. It’s been a lifesaver and has reduced unnecessary alarms significantly!
Model View Tips
I’ve also been exploring the MainUI and its ability to group items. While it’s fantastic, I found that creating separate groups for semantic items makes navigation much smoother. If you’re looking to streamline your interface, consider organizing your items into logical categories or rooms. It really enhances the user experience!
