Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with Z-Wave tilt sensors after migrating from HA on Docker to HA Core. It was quite a journey, but I managed to figure it out! 
So, I recently rebuilt my Z-Wave network after migrating, and while I could control my garage door, lights, and sound, I noticed that the tilt sensor values—like battery status and door position—weren’t showing up in HA anymore. This was frustrating because they worked perfectly with Zwave2MQTT before. The logs were filled with errors like ‘Barrier sensor low battery warning Unknown’ and ‘Tampering detected.’
After some research, I found a detailed guide on repairing the tilt sensor. The key steps were removing the battery guard, aligning the sensor correctly, and ensuring the button was pressed during installation. I followed these steps carefully, and voilà ! The tilt sensor started working again.
I also noticed some tampering alerts in the log book, which I think were just false positives from the sensor reactivation. It’s been working smoothly since then. I wanted to share this solution in case anyone else is facing similar issues. Hopefully, this helps someone avoid the hassle I went through!
