Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring ways to enhance the reliability of my Zigbee setup. I currently use Homey Pro, which is fantastic, but I’m concerned about what happens if it goes down. Many of my lights depend on it, and the idea of being without control for days is a bit unsettling. I’ve heard others talk about having a backup plan, so I decided to look into it myself.
I’ve tried running another Zigbee hub alongside Homey, splitting the lights so that if one hub fails, we still have partial lighting. It’s a start, but I’m curious if there’s a more seamless solution out there. Maybe something with better failover mechanisms or redundant setups?
I’d love to hear how others have tackled this. Have you found any reliable warm standby solutions? What hubs or configurations have worked well for you? Any tips or experiences would be invaluable as I continue to refine my setup. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other create more resilient smart home systems! ![]()
