Poor range is a significant issue for my 433 MHz remotes, and while my Zigbee network offers better coverage, it’s still inconsistent. Another frustration is the lack of audible feedback when the door opens. I’d love a system where pressing a button sends a signal and provides immediate confirmation once the door responds. Custom development seems like the only option, but I’m concerned about the potential for devices to unpair frequently and the time it takes to reconnect.
