Zigbee Network Optimization and Device Compatibility

Hi everyone, I’m diving into the world of Zigbee and it’s been quite an adventure! I recently set up a Zigbee network with several devices, including lights, sensors, and smart plugs. While most devices are working seamlessly, I’ve encountered a few challenges that I’m eager to discuss and get some advice on.

One of the issues I’m facing is with the connectivity of my Zigbee devices, especially those farther from the coordinator. I’ve tried adding a Tuya TS0207 repeater to extend the range, but unfortunately, it hasn’t made a noticeable difference. I’m wondering if there are specific repeaters or configurations that work better with certain Zigbee devices. Has anyone had success with particular repeater models or setups?

Another thing I’m curious about is the compatibility of different Zigbee devices. I’ve noticed that some devices, like the Xiaomi MCCGQ11LM, work perfectly, while others seem to struggle with maintaining a stable connection. I’m looking for recommendations on reliable Zigbee devices that are known for their stability and ease of use.

On a positive note, I’ve managed to optimize my network by strategically placing devices and ensuring a clear line of sight between the coordinator and repeaters. This has significantly improved the overall performance. I’d love to hear about others’ experiences and tips for maximizing Zigbee network efficiency.

If anyone has insights, troubleshooting steps, or product recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate it! Let’s collaborate to make the most out of our Zigbee setups. Thanks in advance for your help!
