Hi everyone.
I just wanted to share a procedure when you have troubles pairing a Thread/Zigbee device (FP300, H2 light switch, etc) to the M3 hub in Zigbee doing it the standard way.
- Discover the device.
- Change the protocol to Zigbee.
- Abort the process while it is attempting to pair with the M3.
- Search for the device manually by selecting the non-Matter option.
- Before starting the pairing process, switch the option in the top right corner from “Magic Pairing” to “Access to the Zigbee network”
- Pair it
I could not find this procedure described anywhere and could save you countless hours and headaches.
