Zigbee Routing Table Insights and Troubleshooting

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into my Zigbee network setup lately and came across some interesting observations. I wanted to share my findings and see if anyone else has encountered similar situations or has some insights to share.

First, I noticed that in my Zigbee routing table, a few devices are showing as routed through a null device with the ID 7C49. These include two SmartThings water leak sensors and an Innr plug. Despite this, all devices are functioning correctly and appear in the Zigbee logs. I’ve tested the leak sensors, and they trigger alerts on the HSM as expected. However, there’s no device listed as 7C49 in the Zigbee details, which is puzzling. Does this null routing indicate a potential issue, or can I safely ignore it since everything seems to work? I also see a listing for ‘No information on Child 1’—what does this mean exactly?

Another thing I’ve noticed is that some Zigbee devices don’t show up in the routing table at all, yet they still function properly. Is this a common routing table behavior, or could it be a sign of a deeper issue? I’d love to hear from others who might have encountered similar scenarios or have tips for optimizing Zigbee network performance.

If anyone has experience with null devices in routing tables or insights into why some devices might not appear in the table despite working, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Let’s collaborate to better understand and troubleshoot these Zigbee nuances!

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and experiences!
