I use the Aqara wall switch E1, single and double type (QBKG40LM / QBKG41LM) with zigbee2mqtt. Controling the switch from Z2M works, but a physical button press is not seen in zigbee2mqtt. E.g., Z2M still shows “off” when the light is switched on manually.
Anything I could do about that? Other products (Wall switch from MOES, smart plugs, etc…) do work fine with physical actions being reflected in the Z2M dashboard.
I updated to firmware version 29.
