Aqara officially exhibited at Light + Building 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany (Hall 9.0, Booth A50) on March 8th, bringing a comprehensive lineup of professional-grade intelligent space solutions. Here’s everything we showed across four key areas 
System-Level Intelligent Control
Aqara Studio makes its debut — a flexible IoT operating system combining zero-code visual configuration with powerful automation, designed for residential, commercial, and industrial use. It enables unified management of lighting, energy, and subsystems across entire floors or multiple properties from a single interface.
Two new DIN Rail Hubs were also introduced:
- DIN Rail Hub AX100M: Serves as both a Zigbee Hub and Thread Border Router, with a dedicated RS485 interface for Modbus devices and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
- DIN Rail Hub GX400M: A high-performance edge computing node supporting BACnet, KNX, Modbus, and Matter under one roof — with four RS485 ports, dual network isolation, and expandable storage for deep B2B customization via Aqara Studio.
Intelligent Lighting
Aqara’s updated lighting lineup covers both indoor and outdoor applications, featuring new products including Outdoor Permanent Lights, Outdoor String Lights, Floor Lamp, LED Strip T2, and LED Bulb T2 E14.
Key highlights:
- Human-Centric Lighting: A wide color temperature range of 2000K–9000K automatically adjusts throughout the day to follow natural daylight rhythms — boosting focus during work hours and creating comfort in the evening
- Native Matter Support: Full compatibility with Thread and Zigbee for seamless interoperability across all major smart home platforms
- Highly Customizable: Combine Aqara sensors, wireless switches, wall switches, and automation rules to tailor lighting behavior precisely to any space or use case
Smart Locks & Security
Two new smart locks are joining the family:
- Smart Lock U500 Series: Available in three variants — Gate Lock, Rim Lock, and Glass Door Lock — the U500 works with metal, wooden, iron, and glass doors with no door modifications required, making it ideal for the diverse door types found across global markets
- Smart Lock U600: Built primarily for the UK market with a slim, minimalist design. It supports Apple Home Key for seamless unlocking via iPhone or Apple Watch, and runs natively on Matter over Thread for fast, reliable integration with leading smart home platforms
Energy & Load Management
The 4-Channel DIN Rail Module AW110K is engineered for professional building automation. It delivers stable RS485 communication, Class 1 high-precision current metering, and interlock modes for managing both standard appliances and bidirectional motors — combining safety with operational flexibility.
