Hi, welcome to the forum. Yes, W500 can replace it. The main question is what temperatures do you need to control in the heat pump?

Hi, it is an old heating system. Heating pump pumps hot water through pipes to the radiators and when the temperature of the room is achieved it stop the pump. It’s an 220V Europe (France) installation. I was trying Google Nest learning thermostat but it’s not working.

Then it should suit you, you can take the W100 thermometer in the kit and tie it to the W500.

Just don’t forget that for the devices to work properly, I recommend that you get the Aqara gateway.

Unfortunately it does not work. I only have two wire, one is live and one is not. When you connect them together they close the circuit and then heating starts.
Does anyone have a idea how to make this working?

Regards

Hello, what are the problems, you connect the W500 contacts to the pump and control the pump using temperature control.
Now I’m searching the forum, I gave the connection diagram to someone.

The second way is to add an intermediate relay for 220 volts to the W500 and use the dry contacts of the relay for the contact you need. The relay connection diagram will be similar to the one above, only instead of the pump, a relay for 220 volts.

I have a T2 dual relay, can you give me the diagram how to connect all together please?
Sorry but I am total beginner

No problem, I’ll just do it tomorrow. I’m a little busy right now, okay?

And now you can look here, for familiarization. In your case, instead of a boiler, there will be a pump. Automation 2.0, lesson 14, creating automations for controlling groups of rooms using radiator thermostats (E1,W600) and a controlled heating boiler
