Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 – Be the First to Try

I am very interested, USA

I’m from the United States. I have many ideas for something like this.
I would love to make a system to let me know when my washer is done, and when my dryer is done, and whether or not the lids had been opened

I have a circular medication dispenser and being able to monitor the orientation would allow me to verify whether or not I’ve taken my meds for the day

It could be a great window shatter sensor.

Really the possibilities are almost endless.

Would love to have the opportunity to check these out, in the UK.

I have a couple of use cases in mind already;
More advanced state of window open detection vs a “traditional” open/closed sensor. To identify if the window is open, on the catch and still somewhat secured, open but only so far as the window restrictor allows or fully open.

Also fitted inside the wheelie bin lids to detect when th bins have been moved in readiness for emptying and subsequently after they have been emptied.

Writing from US - Las Vegas. Excited to test various cases. Like others mentioned, would try on the mailbox - have been looking for a good solution to this for years. Also, would try for seasonal events like a sensor under a mat on Halloween to trigger a power plug connected to an animated character. Another use will be to place on my driveway gate whose movement will trigger lights. Several uses for a sensor - I think these will be good to be sold in multi-packs.

I am from Denmark and I plan on using these to replace my Eve door and Window sensors as the three Eve’s I got, struggle to register properly (offline, when not so in the Eve app) within the Aqara M3 hub. Secondly, I would love to use one my sons gaming chair, so that his gaming lights turn on, when he sits down in the chair after sunset.

Hello,

I’m based in Spain and I’d love to test the Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 in a real home setup.

My idea is to use it on my main entrance door to track open and close events, and also on a window to detect vibrations as part of a simple security system.

Thanks for considering my request.

Im from Poland. Im interested to sensors for doors

I am based in Denmark and I am interested in testing the Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100.

I have several different use cases that I would like to explore. A few examples include:

  1. Detecting continuous movement or vibration in an outdoor awning in order to automatically retract it during strong wind conditions.

  2. Adding an extra layer of portable security to a bicycle (or other valuable items stored indoors), for example by attaching the P100 using a Velcro strap that can easily be mounted on the item.

US and I would like to use and test it with home assistant to automate and trigger events based on state changes

I live in the USA and would very much like to participate in the P100 trials. It would be great addition to my family of other Aqara devices especially my new U400 Smart Lock!

I am in the US. I want to try this sensor for a few different uses:

  1. Attach this to an HVAC unit to record how often it comes on (on a multi-stage HVAC system)
  2. Detect how often a sump pump is activating by attaching it to the output water pipe

I am from the United States. I want to try this on my refrigerator. It has three doors that I would like to try it automate it to The Strip Light, to letting me know when the doors Open or close visually

I’m from the United States. I would like to set it up on my refrigerator. It has three doors and I would like to automated to let me know when the doctor is Open and Close visually link to a strip light.

This would be perfect for helping me stay on top of my pet frog maintenance! I open it’s cage in different ways depending on if I’m adding crickets, topping up the water, checking the soil, or doing a deep clean. Being able to autorecord those events and then have accurate reminders for the next time they need to happen would be a GODSEND.

Definitely interested in this trial, I am located in the USA

Love Aqara products. Here in the USA.

I would love to try this product out and join! My plan would be to create a model that holds this and my medication to tell when i need to take my meds, and to be able to track when the last time the container was opened!

I have a couple things to try:

  1. Detect if a door lock deadbolt is in locked/unlocked position
  2. Sump Pump failure via high water level detection
  3. …more ideas to come

Hey guys!
Hello from Poland :poland:,

I’m interested in participating and have a few ideas :bulb: on how to use the sensor. So:

  1. Check on the water cannister if it has been used to watering plants recently.
  2. Check if elderly family member with dementia took his planned food box from the refrigerator and also another sensor to check on how often the refrigerator is being opened during the day anyways.
  3. Home safe door security, and btw. I would also stick it on the safe walls in Gelsenkirchen’s Sparkasse in Germany this woukd be more than enough to save people about €30 mln
  4. Secure Personal drawer with a lock by checking if it’s being open.
  5. Checking how often kids grab with their hands that sweets’ can :joy:

And…
6. Mailbox usage is a must have, but would love to have the sensor working at the reception level in the building.
7. If the sensor would be somehow better in my use cases than the existing vibration one, I would consider using it on doors and windows as well.

Thanks for doing these trials Aqara! I missed doing the trial on the FP300 and I missed buying one before they sold out so I am hoping to get one of these to as a trial to use as a sensor to tell when my dryer finishes. I am from the US.
