Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 – Be the First to Try

Interested - Bulgaria.

Hello, Austria needs this sensor too!

Thinking about putting it in the bird feeder to create an automation for refill.

Thanks

I would like to test one P100 sensor for my smart home.

Hello, automation fan from Poland here

Happy to participate. I have an idea for this sensor.

I have a balcony door that opens in two ways – one tilts and one wide open. I currently need two sensors placed in the corners. Why?
If the door is ajar OR wide open, the smart home should turn off the air conditioning in the room. If the door is wide open, the smart home shouldn’t automatically lower the roller blinds after sunset, because the blinds would hit the door. If the door is ajar only - it’s OK to lower the blinds.

So I hope to replace the two T1 sensors with one P100 sensor, and also gain information about broken glass in the door – a burglar-proof function.

Hi, I would love to participate in this. I have always wanted to be part of a new product test group and this is my first opportunity. I am in the US.

My first thoughts would be to use this to put on my 11 year old’d devices to make sure he is not using them when he is not supposed to and also monitor when and how often he is using them. It is always a struggle around our house.

I also like the mailbox idea. I currently have 2 aqara door sensors in our mailbox (it has a door on the front and back). It triggers a blue light in our house when the front door opens (mail person drops off) and cancels out when we open the back door of it to get mail. It works well, but this may be a more reliable option.

I would also consider using on the TV remote if it is small enough to trigger a TV watching scene when someone picks up the remote.

I am sure I can come up with some others as well. My smart home consists of over 200 devices currently and I am always thinking of new ways to use sensors.

Thank you,
Shaun

Hi Aqara,

Would like to test the p100 sensor on garage shutters - to check if they are open or closed and or if someone tries to open them

Country: USA :us:

Idea for use:
I plan to use the P100 on our garage fridge door to detect open/close + vibration/orientation. If the door is left open or slammed by the kids, HomeKit would send an alert and log the event. I also want to test it on our mailbox to detect vibration + movement for real-time mail delivery notifications without needing a camera or power source.

Excited to experiment with the different modes—this sensor looks perfect for creative automations beyond just doors/windows. Thanks!

I have a unique situation where I have cleaning people in my rental unit in USA that don’t notify me when they change the air filters. Maybe a sensor like this could notify me that the filter doors have been access for replacement. This would be amazing.

I’d use it on my trash can to send me a reminder on trash day to take the trash cans to the street for pickup.

Hey. I’m interested in testing this product. I’m in the United Kingdom.

I would like to use this in my son’s room for his safety. He’s got severe ASD so would like to use as a contact and motion sensor to trigger if he opens his room door to flash our Aqara lights to notify us.

I would love the opportunity to try the new P100 as a way of monitoring my young nephews room so we know when he is awake and playing along with knowing if he opens a door or window. I also would like to try it in our living room for checking if windows are open when the heating comes on to ensure we aren’t heating outside, also turning on different lights dependent on someone being in the room and which seat they are sittings on.

I am in the United Kingdom.

Thank you kindly.

Hi, I’d love to test out the new sensor here in the UK, I have many projects I could use this for but sm interested in getting a resolution to light automation on sliding wardrobe doors which this may work perfectly for.
