Aqara Smoke sensor

Hi,

I purchased 9 smoke sensors. Initially everything seemed to work fine, but when an alarm occurred, I did not receive any notification on my phone. I only received the notification one day later, which was quite concerning since I was not at home and thought is a real alarm…

After this, I checked all sensors more carefully. It appears they are not functioning properly:

  • They can receive signals from the hub
  • However they don’t send back the fire alarm event. a couple do it sometimes but most of the time with high delay
  • When I run a device check, all sensors beep but in the app, I always get a “device not reachable” error after about 30 seconds
This happened after 1 month after installation and until then I 2 events which worked fine.
Could you please advise what I can do to fix this?

Thank you.

Hello, welcome to the forum. You are using Aqara security settings. I have no problems with these settings. Using automations in some cases can cause notification failures. Lesson 1 Setting up the security system APP (adding a card with a security panel)

Hi @gafich10 ,
I don’t have any automations set up. The problem is with the devices as also the logs on them are as mentioned clean.
The sensors are 2 months old. I also tried to bring one close to the hub (~20-30 cm) and the device check behaves the same (alarms rings on the sensor but the app prints “device not reachable”)

Hello, please tell me what other devices are in your smart home. (sockets, switches…).
