Aqara U200 compatibility with ABLOY 4190 mortise lock and CY001C cylinder

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to install an Aqara Smart Lock U200 on a European metal door and I’m trying to understand real-world compatibility beyond the official list.

Has anyone here successfully installed the U200 with:

  • nightlatch-style mortise cases (where the latch is the main locking element)
  • Scandinavian / ABLOY-style mortise locks (e.g. ABLOY 4190 / 4690)
  • ABLOY Classic or Oval cylinders (such as CY001C)

Visually, some ABLOY thumbturn mechanisms look similar to US deadbolt tailpieces,
so I’m wondering if anyone has tested this in practice.

Any photos, model numbers, or “don’t do this” stories are very welcome.
