Hello, I bought an Aqara HUB M3 and I’m having trouble pairing it with the Aqara app. The M3 says it can connect. The LED is blinking yellow, but the connection doesn’t work in the Aqara app. I scan the master code and get stuck in an endless loop. The interesting thing is that I can add the device to Apple Home without any problems. I’ve researched the following things online.
I have completely removed the device from Apple Home.
I unplugged all the repeaters and they are no longer visible in the Fritz!Box.
I switched to WPA2 in the FritzBox.
I’ve disabled 5 and 6 GHz so that everything runs smoothly on 2.4 GHz. I’ve set the channel to channel 1.
The following option is disabled: Automatically switch WLAN devices
between frequency bands and between multiple FRITZ! products in the mesh network.
I can’t get the HUB M3 to work in the Aquara app??
Can someone help me?
I feel a bit silly right now. First of all, thank you for your help. The first one was the right one. I wasn’t aware that there was a Matter code and an Aqara code. I thought they were the same. Okay, after using the Aqara code, everything worked. Thank you so much!

I have the following product that I would like to connect to the Hub M3:
Aqara Thread/Zigbee Room Thermostat W100
The product is in Zigbee mode. I can see this from the two flashing bars on the status indicator.
The device is detected correctly, and the app then asks if I want to connect it via Zigbee. I confirm this. After a few seconds, a message appears stating that this device cannot be connected. Do I need to change something on the Hub?
Hello. Your actions should be as follows. Scan the QR code (Aqara). In the first window after scanning, select Zigbee mode. Wait for a while until the switching occurs. Then everything is standard, select the gateway you want to connect (you have M3) and then everything is fine.
