Hi,
I want to create an automation if someone opened the door only from outside then light the LED Bulb T2 inside my home.
I have door lock U200 , doorbell G410 and door sensor P2 and use Aqara home for automations.
Hello, in the WHEN section, use the sequence - when there is movement on the G350 and the door (P2) opens within 30 seconds, then turn on the T2 lamp.
Here’s how it works with the G410 doorbell:
Instead of “Unknown face detected,” you can also use “Specific face detected.”
Instead of “Motion detected” (which is not currently available on a battery-powered 410 doorbell), you can use ‘Lingerer detected’.
I like the ingenuity. The problem here is that this could also easily be someone at the door and the person inside opening to greet them. I think the specific face detected would cut this down a bit.
I’ve seen other feature requests to expose the fingerprint reader of the locks in automations. While not possible today, this could also help as it could distinguish the lock being unlocked from the outside vs inside.
I’m trying to create a simple automation, when
door opens - turn on the light. It works but I want the light to stay on for another minute after the door closes, how do I set it up?
If you have already switched on the light in the other automation using ‘open’, you can also omit ‘turn on’.
Thank you!!!
